Arbitration / Mediation

Arbitration and mediation are alternative methods of dispute resolution compared to court proceedings.

Arbitration refers to the extrajudicial resolution of a legal dispute in well-regulated proceedings by way of conciliation, i.e. by proposing a compromise or binding judgment.

Mediation is a voluntary, extrajudicial conflict resolution process in which two or more conflicting parties, with the help of an impartial third party, try to find a mutually agreeable settlement of their deadlock.
